The Brillare (bree-lar-ay, meaning "to shine" in Italian) brand came to life May 1st 2010, the academy behind the Brillare vision—its prestigious salon affiliations, loyal instructors with years of expertise and hard-earned reputation as the Valley's best—was sixteen years in the making.
Over the past sixteen years, RAS Management Inc. has benefited from incorporating three different hairdressing academies. RAS Management Inc. knew a final brand revival would put its academy in a unique position to broaden its relationships with different brands. Thus, on May 1, 2010, RAS Management Inc. d.b.a. TONI&GUY Academy became Brillare Hairdressing Academy.
In 1995, RAS Management purchased the Carlos Valenzuela Academy, a hairstyling school founded in 1987. A few years later, RAS Management joined forces with a talented hairdresser, Scott Cole, to rebrand the academy and expand its curriculum to incorporate the COLORCUTTING® method Scott developed under the tutelage of Vidal Sassoon. The now Scott Cole Academy went on to excel as one of the Valley's most prestigious hairstyling academies. In 2002, RAS Management decided to further expand its academy's product affiliations and offerings by partnering with the TONI&GUY brand. The TONI&GUY Academy quickly became recognized as one of the best academies in the southwest.
Now as Brillare, RAS Management offers support and education from this all-star group of TIGI, Paul Mitchell Systems, Alfaparf, Goldwell, ENJOY and Shot from Italy. Brillare continues RAS Management's tradition of bringing in top stylists from Arizona's most exclusive salons for educational demonstrations and support. Every decision made by RAS Management Inc. d.b.a. Brillare Hairdressing Academy has been made to improve the quality of learning for all of Brillare's future graduates.
